I have applied in gate having SC caste certificate...Do this caste certificate will be allowed to take admission anywhere in India?

In the final admission of any IIT or NIT or any good college you need to write the exam and Score good marks.In the admission process Category will also makes a difference.The people who are SC/ST will have better chances of getting good college with a normal score.
Definitely caste Certificate from SC category is useful.However you need to get good marks in GATE exam or atleast you should qualify in the exam to get seat in any College.
