i have completed my bachelor in Mechanical engineering. and im working in state government now. i want to complete BE or B.Tech. in civil engineering for working professionals. but i have no diploma in civil engineering. can i have any others option?
Hello! Since you have a Mechanical Engineering degree and no diploma in Civil, you cannot directly do a B.Tech in Civil. You can explore part-time/distance B.Tech programs for working professionals, or first complete a Civil Engineering diploma and then take lateral entry into B.Tech.
Hey! Since you have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and no diploma in Civil Engineering, direct admission to B.Tech/BE in Civil through lateral entry is usually not possible. You can either pursue a full B.Tech in Civil (possibly through part-time or distance programs for working professionals) or consider M.Tech in Civil if the university allows Mechanical Engineering graduates. Another option is to take online or certification courses in Civil Engineering to gain skills without a full degree.
