Hi Vikash,
Thanks for approaching us. You can definitely opt for IIFT exam as they do not ask for work experience. Following are the eligibility criteria for taking the IIFT examination-
-
To apply, candidates must have a three-year Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised Institute/college.
-
Final year students are also eligible to apply. However, they would need to submit the relevant academic proof like a certificate of the current semester.
-
Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates to apply for IIFT entrance exam.
IIFT 2019 will be held on December 2, 2018, the result will be announced in the last week of December 2018. Around 60,000 candidates apply for the entrance exam every year for over 500 seats at both the campuses. To explore more, visit the links given below-

Hello Vikash,
Even if you don’t have work experience you can apply for IIFT. It is not mentioned anywhere that it is compulsory to have work experience. However, I feel they might question you regarding the gap between your graduation (which took place in 2016 I assume). What did you do in these two years? You can apply, but in the interview round you might be asked this question.
Kindly contact me if you have confusion about this.
I hope this was helpful and all the best!
