The sylabus for the B.A. 1st Year for Foreign Languages is: general knowledge, artificial language, on issues related to the subject etc. would be covered in the syllabus.
Availability of Seats:
- For French, 48 seats are available out of which only 19 are unreserved
- For German, 48 seats are available out of which only 19 are unreserved
- For Russian, 68 seats are available out of which only 28 are unreserved
- For Spanish, 39 seats are available out of which only 15 are unreserved
- For Chinese, 44 seats are available out of which only 18 are unreserved
- For Japanese, 48 seats are available out of which only 19 are unreserved
- For Korean, 39 seats are available out of which only 15 are unreserved
- For Arabic, 39 seats are available out of which only 15 are unreserved
- For Persian, 39 seats are available out of which only 15 are unreserved
- For Pashto, 19 seats are available out of which only 8 are unreserved

You need to learn about culture, art, history, literature of the countries where these languages are spoken.First thing you need to decide is the languages you are trying to get into. After that you need to prepare accordingly.You can select maximum of three languages from below groups(called cluster).
- Japanese, Chinese, Korean
- Spanish, french, Russian, German
- Arabic, Persian, Pushto
You can select three languages(maximum two from 1 group).Suppose one of the languages you selected is Japanese. Then you need to learn about Japanese culture, art, literature, music, drama, script, etc. And same goes with other languages.
