You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a rank of around 43,000 in JEE main examination, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks in IIIT Kurnool, Andra Pradesh was around 35,000 in the mechanical engineering branch in the general category. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
