I have got 470 in neet and I am in UR category , WB . Will it be beneficial for me to go for counselling ?

Dear the candidates need to score minimum 480 to try for a seat in govt. medical college.The score required varies from state to state.The range varies from 480 to 530.Your marks are good but your category may cause problems for you to get a good medical College.Level of competition is very high and as the level increases the cut off also increase.But you chances of grabing a government medical college seat for yourself.I would recommend you to apply for the counselling for sure and dont give up.
