Ther is a huge scope in Food technology and science in India.

A food technologist basic job is to work for the new method development for the food manufacturing and preserve the food safe and hygienic and enhance the color, flavor and resistance from the natural harms like microorganism and toxins.

There are several courses available in this field such as:

• Poltechnic Diploma course which is of 3 years.
• Undergraduate courses such as B.Sc and B.Tech of 3 and 4 years respectively.
• Post graduate courses such as M.Sc and M.Tech of 2 years.

CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute Entrance Examination)  is an exam for admission to various institutes offering degrees.

Apart from that, Hotel Management is also and option.
