I joined BSc Agriculture through KCET in KLE Agriculture College last year (Round 2). After studying for 2 months, I officially discontinued, submitted a letter to the Dean, got TC and documents back with no penalty. I wrote KCET again. Can I join BE/BTech through KCET counselling?

Yes, you can still join BE/BTech through KCET counselling. Since you officially discontinued your B.Sc Agriculture seat, submitted the discontinuation letter, and got your TC/documents back without penalty, you are generally eligible to participate in KCET counselling again.

KEA mainly creates issues when students block seats and do not properly cancel/discontinue admissions. Since your discontinuation was official, it should not stop you from taking a new seat.

So you can safely attend KCET engineering counselling for BE/BTech this year. Just keep these documents ready:
• TC
• Discontinuation/relieving letter
• Previous allotment details (if asked)
