I passed my 12th from Maharashtra boards without maths, now im thinking to give 12th maths exam through NIOS ODE, will DU accept my situation and consider me as a eligible candidate?

If you passed 12th without Math's from Maharashtra Board and now plan to take Math's through NIOS ODE, DU will accept it only for courses where Math's is required, provided it’s a valid board exam result.
For courses like BCom (Hons) or BSc, Mathes in 12th is compulsory; for Arts or general B.A., it’s not needed.
So, you’ll be eligible if:

You clear the NIOS Math's exam before admission, and
-
The course you choose requires or accepts Math's from any recognized board.
