I scored 78.55 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. What should be my expected ranking as per this score and chances of getting admission into NIT, IIIT or any good colleges under General Category? I belong to New Delhi.

Your percentile score is 78.55 then your rank will be
=(100- your percentile score ) x 869010/ 100
= (100- 78.55 ) x 869010/ 100
= 21.45 x 869010/ 100
= 1.86 lakh.
So , your rank will be near about 1.86 lakh.
Sorry to tell you but you cannot get into good colleges like NITs etc with 78.55 percentile in jee mains as last year cut off for jee mains for general category was 89.75 percentile.
So , I suggest you to prepare well for jee mains april session if you want to get into good engineering colleges like NITS etc

You have got 78.55 percentile, so your expected rank will be around 1.86 lakhs [ (100 - 78.55) * (869010 / 100) ]. At this rank, it is very difficult to get any seat in NITs or IIITs. You can get state level government engineering colleges. Being a general category student, your chances are low. But you can appear for Jee Main April session. You can get into top private colleges. You have another chance of getting good marks. The best of two will be considered.
