I selected only engineering option but can I apply for medical using kcet rank

No you cannot apply for medical using KCET rank. Medical admissions across the country are through NEET but you could have applied for medical along with engineering while filling the application if you were appearing for NEET.

If you selected engineering and allied course as at the time of filling the application, you will have to appear in the engineering exam, and not the exam for the medical courses.

However, having said that there is a chance that the exam conducting body may open an application form correction facility around the 2nd week of March. If that happens, you can make the necessary corrections and appear in the exam for medical courses.

I would also suggest you keep updated with the latest news on KCET application form , as you never know if the application correction facility is started even before the expected date.
