Hello Varada,

The answer for your question is NO, because the deduction is totally based on the change of your stream like if you have studied science till class 12 and from graduation onwards you want to study commerce or arts subjects. So when you change your stream the deduction in your best four will happen.

The deduction is based on which college you choose. However it varies from 2.5% to 5%.
