Yes you are certainly eligible for MBA and cat examination this year. The MBA admission gives a weihtage on diversity while admititng candidates. You being a BA graduate certainly have an edge over others for admission. You must prepare well and go for it. Here is a link for cut off for various colleges

Thanks for approaching us. As per the official eligibility criteria of CAT exam, you need to secure at least 50 per cent in your Bachelor's degree if you belong to the General category. If you belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD), the minimum percentage to be secured in Bachelor’s Degree is 45 per cent.
No preference is given to BA degree in MBA; to be precise stream/subject does not play a role in the CAT eligibility criteria. It is only the score that is considered.
Also, there is no age limit to appear for CAT exam.
