Admission to Biotechnology courses like B.Sc Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology in 2026 usually requires Class 12 in the Science stream (PCB or PCM) with around 50–60% marks.

Popular entrance exams for admission include:

Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main)
Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE)

Admissions for different UG and PG Biotechnology courses are expected to begin from May 2026.
