However, states like Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have introduced a capping as to how much the annual fee should be for each of the categories in order to ensure that the private institutions do not overcharge students.The course fee of MBBS for the Management Quota seats ranges from INR 4,00,000/- in the medical colleges of Kerala to as high as INR 17,95,000/- in the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
