Hello,
Since you are an NEET aspirant, it’s important that your documents are consistent. Here’s what you can do:
-
Check official guidelines: NEET and other exam authorities usually accept minor spelling differences if it’s clear that all documents belong to the same person.
-
Keep proof ready: Keep your birth certificate, Aadhaar, and your father’s documents handy. These can prove that “Mahato” and “Mahata” refer to the same family.
-
Affidavit: If needed, you can get an affidavit declaring that your surname “Mahato” and “Mahata” are the same. This helps avoid future issues with admission forms.
Apply carefully: While filling NEET forms, write your name exactly as in your 10th marksheet (Mahata) and mention your other documents if asked.
Contact helpdesk: If still unsure, you can contact the NEET helpdesk to clarify what to do in your case.
It’s mostly a spelling issue, and with proof, it can be easily sorted.
Hope it helps !
