Iam Andhra Pradesh board here there is an grading system so I got 9.57 can I get a chance in vit Vellore if not which campus can I get? plz!
You have very much less chances of getting a seat.I had worked in many educational departments so, I know the procedure how they shortlist the candidates on merit list.In first Andhra students do have higher chances of getting into institutes on their board marks.But the scenario has been changed,Now they have grading system and they take the least mark of the grade i.e., If 91-100 is A1 they would take 91 marks as the scored marks.And they sum up the entire marks and prepare a general merit list.so,in this process A.P students do lag a far behind the other state students.But also they take a large no. Of students from Tamil Nadu into vit Vellore,Chennai campuses as they do have marking system.So its better to look upon other options and try to spend less money on ur graduation if u want to pursue higher studies
Hi Tarun.VIT admission will be done through VITEEE exam which will be conducted by VIT.You cannot get seat through board exams.If you have already appeared for vit viteee exam then you can get seat according to your rank in that particular viteee exam conducted by vit university.
