Medical candidates in West Bengal are required to obtain a domicile certificate in order to be eligible for admission via the 85% state quota.
There are three types of domicile certificate issued, based on the candidate's residential status.
One of the types is such that the candidate has completed class 12 from a different state but parents are a resident of West Bengal ( have a home in WB).
