if any candidate participate in 15% quota counseling in other or home stste, can he get benefit of obc category or he will consider as general.

In NEET counselling , the entire set of seats are divided as 15% All India Quota seats and 85% home state quota seats . Under All India Quota , there will be further division based on different categories. As per the reservation criteria of NEET 2020, out of the total number of AIQ seats , 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates, for ST candidates 7.5 % seats will be kept reserved while 27% of the seats are reserved for OBC candidates. So if you belong to OBC category , under AIQ you will be considered as an OBC candidate and hence they will see whether you have cleared the OBC cutoff. Note , when it comes to AIQ or state quota , the difference is based on the state you belong to .If you want a college from your home state you do not have to apply through AIQ instead can do for state counselling.
