If by chance we pass in preliminary and mains but we fail in interview so does we have any job facilities under collector post.

Dear Student,
Particularly for UPSC, your final score is the combination of interview and mains scores which includes all the GS and optional papers. So there is nothing like failing or passing in UPSC interviews. UPSC decides a specific cutoff for the final result.
But, if you are not able to pass in the total result, you'll have to go back to stage 1 which is the preliminary stage with great dedication. So, try to score well in mains so that even if your interview doesn't go as per your expectations, your mains marks will balance out that.
