    Hello Avinash,

    The passing criteria of Delhi University is that the student must be passed in atleast 50% percent of their subjects throughout the year.

    For example, if yoi have 8 subjects to deal within the year i.e. 4 subjects per semester. Then you must be passed in 4 subjects to be promoted in next semester otherwise year back rule will apply.

    So, now if you are passed in your 1st semester and have not given your 2nd semester Exams or even internals, then do not worry. You will be promoted to next year and will have to give exams in your 4th semester.

    No issues with that. You can give second semester exams in fourth semester. For that ypu may need to submit valid reasons (eg. Medical certificates) i.e. why you were unable to attend the exam. There's a specific time period given to Candidates to complete there back logs. You will have to check rules and regulations with your college.

    It totally depends on college authority. If your marks are good in 1st semester,  they can give you the chance to sit again for internals.
