If I have got a seat in the all india counselling then can I block that and appear for state as well
Yes, you can participate in both All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and State Quota counselling simultaneously. If you are allotted a seat in AIQ counselling, you can choose to either accept (report to the college) or hold the seat while participating in your state counselling.
However, if you join a college under AIQ (by reporting physically or uploading documents online) and later get a better seat in state counselling, you will need to resign from the AIQ seat before the deadline to avoid losing your security deposit or being blocked from further rounds.
Always ensure you follow the reporting deadlines and withdrawal rules carefully in both AIQ and state counselling to avoid seat forfeiture or disqualification.
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you can. If you are allotted a seat through All India Quota counselling, you can take (block) that seat and appear for state counselling. If you take admission and join the allotted college (i.e. report and complete formalities) you will usually be not eligible for next round of AIQ counselling and may also be restricted from state counselling processes. You should carefully check the specific rules for your state counselling authority.
Dear candidate ,
If you have been allotted a sear through All India Quota counselling but have not yet joined or reported to the college , you are eligible to participate in state counselling as well . However , if you have already joined the AIQ seat by submitting documents or physically reporting , and you have not officially withdrawn , you will not be allowed to participate in state counselling .
