I'm expecting a score of 532-542 in NEET UG-2019. What are my chances of getting an MBBS government college in Uttar Pradesh?

532-542 is a very good score range. In 2018, under General Category, 462 marks secured a seat under General Category in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institute and 492 marks scored a seat in UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. Having said that cut off changes every year and id dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score, candidate's category and difficulty of the exam. You have a fair chance at these 2 colleges. You also have fair chances at Government Allopathic Medical College, Banda; Government Medical College, Sahranpur; Government Medical College, Azamgarh; Government Medical Colleges at Kannauj and Ambedkarnagar. Mam in my knowledge 2018 cutoff was 533 fir obc and 538 for general. As my friend score was 531 and obc category she didn't get any government seat.
Its just not marks that are considered whilr giving admission. Merit list is prepared considering few factors.
