I'm from kanpur, U.P. , CAN I GET CSE IN JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY

Below is the eligibility criteria for getting admissions in any course in Jadhavpur University :

• Admission to B.Pharm., B.Tech. and B.Arch. is done on the basis of WBJEE scores.
• Admission to MCA, ME/M.Tech. and M.Pharm is done on the basis of marks obtained in different Entrance Tests viz. GATE /WB JECA/ GPAT .
• Candidates are shortlisted for admission to the rest of the programs is done on the basis of entrance exam, conducted by the University except B.Sc.
• For B.Sc, Seats will be allotted on the basis of previous academic merit.

• There is a single entrance test (WBJEE) for the above-mentioned programs. The exam would be based on class XI, XII Syllabus. There will be two papers. Paper I will be of Mathematics for a duration of 2 hours . Paper II will be of Physics and Chemistry . Questions in the exam will be of multiple choice/ objective type.

In both the papers, questions will be classified in three categories based on the number of questions and the marking scheme. Based on the performance in this test, candidates will be selected for admission. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website.

There is nothing like other states candidates can't get admission in Jadavpur University but there is huge cutoff difference between Bengali and non Bengali candidates in Jadavpur University. So yes if you have got adequate rank for CSE then you will get Jadavpur University. Previous year cutoff of Jadavpur University is 164 for gen non Bengali.

Yes, you can take admission, you will have to be appear in WBJEE examination. The college provides admission on the basisbof score in wbjee. To get your preferable branch in this university, you have to score 120 out of 200, which will be a good score.
