It totally depends on your personal interest whether you want to go for design engineering or control system engineering as per field
If you are interested in designing in many other fields and more likely to be in a technical thinking job you do work with mathematical equations and critical thinking to design systems and product then I would suggest you to go for design engineering.
If you are interested in control systems and managing there work that focuses on how to design, integrate, and managecomplex systems over theirlife cycles .then I would suggest you to go for control system engineering.
