In DUET 2019, there is a option for mock test. Can anyone briefly describe it and also tell whether it's mandatory or not?

The mock test link given for DUET 2019 is just for giving candidates an idea about how the entrance exam would go like. Since it is the first time that NTA(National Testing Agency) would be conducting DUET, it is good to know about the procedures of giving the entrance, it would be different from the previous times.
It is not mandatory, but it is advisable that you do it just for your benefit-to avoid much confusion during the exam. It will be a practice before the exam and might save you some time in the exam centre.
