In Jee advance 2016 min subjectwise cut off was 13 as each paper was for 124 marks while it should be 12 as per rounding rules.Pl clarify
Hello,
subject-wise cutoff or the qualifying marks were:-
-
Physics:- 186 aggregate marks:-372 for both exams
- Chemistry and mathematics :- 62 aggregate marks:- 124
JEE Advance is held in two sessions so aggregate marks is calculated by taking average of both the exams.
Category - wise cutoff is different which is highest for CRL i.e. 35 marks in aggregate.
To Sum up all the above, A Candidate has to score 124 marks per subject and 372 as aggregate marks to qualify JEE Advance.
This is why JEE Advance is one of the most toughtest exam in India.
