Hello,
Rounds of counselling is basically a process involving alloting colleges to students based upon rank and choice filling. And than giving time to students to confirm their college by looking into all choices available.
In next round, the vacant seats of each college are allocated again to lower marks securing candidates. So on and so forth rounds of counselling take place untill all the seats are filled up.
Some seats are filled through mop up round.
