If you are looking for government job, I would suggest you to opt for M. SC instead of B. Tech. After B. Tech, your chances of getting a job in private sector is much more than getting it in government sector.
After M. Sc, you can opt to be a civil servant through UPSC and you can also go in the field of research and you can also become a scientist in DRDO.
