NIOS students are also eligible to appear for NEET, provided they meet the eligibility criteria which are:
- Be 17 years old atleast as on December 31st of year of admission
- Complete 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects along with English
- Secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.

NIOS students are eligible for NEET provided they will be atleast 17 years as on December 31, 2020 and secure the minimum aggregate required against their Category. It is 50% for General Category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology group, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC/SC/ST. From 2020, JIPMER MBBS exam has been cancelled and NEET is the only medical entrance exam which includes both AIIMS and JIPMER.
