When it comes to counselling, the All India rating (AIR) is always taken into account ( i.e.., seat allotment) and not the category rank . When a category student has a high enough rank that he is able to acquire a place in the general category, then AIR is taken into account. However, following these admissions, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST seats will be filled, and female candidates will be assigned seats depending on their ranks.
