no, commerce isnt necessary for doing MBA.MBA can be done by any person having a bachelor's degree in any field.

Dear student,

It is not necessary the you have have relevant qualification in your previous studies for MBA in Banking and Finance or MBA in Accounting Management or MBA in Cost Management because these are the post graduate courses which required any graduate with 50% marks from a recognized university and qualification subject of 11th and 12th does not matters about this but if you are really interested as financial works then you should choose commerce stream in your 11th and 12th class so that there would be so many ways for you in your career and then you can go for B.Com or BBA or BBM for MBA in Banking or any other relevant degree and after completing your MBA in relevant discipline you will get job in Banks, Life Insurance, Financial Sectors, Tax Department etc.

not at all necessary. there are plenty of non commerce students doing mba in various colleges across india. even for finance subjects they will teach you from the basics so no need to worry about it.
