Dear Kritika,
No, it is not.
While NEET is the common All India level test for admissions to 65,170 MBBS seats at more than 400 medical colleges approved by the Medical Council of India, medical aspirants also have the option of applying for admissions to MBBS courses offered by the All India Insitute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) across its 7 campuses through the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam and for the 200 MBBS seats offered by the Jawaharlal Institute Of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) across its two campuses in Puducherry and Karaikal through the JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam.
Dental aspirants should note however that NEET UG is the only exam they can take if they are seeking admissions to BDS courses anywhere in India. NEET offers admissions to 25,730 BDS seats in more than 300 Dental colleges.
I hope this helps!
Yes, NEET is the pre medical entrance exam that one needs to clear before getting admission into MBBS in the govt colleges of India.Apart from NEET, some private colleges also hold their separate entrance examinations. AIIMS, JIPMER,AFMC have separate examinations for MBBS seats.
