The top companies in terms of brand name,job profiles and compensation offered areCredit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, VISA, SAP, Oracle, CitiBank, Barclays, Bank of America and many more.

The Big 4 firms too visit VJTI for placements.

The Indian IT companies and the 'mass recruiters' also sneak in but this time they came with a different profile and 'better' pay package(read around 6lpa).

Then you have the Japanese companies like Rakuten, IBJ offering you a ticket to the Land of the Rising Sun

Telcos like Vodafone, Airtel, Jio, Idea also offer exciting profiles for the ETRX nd EXTC people.

Apart from that,you have the heavyweights of the core sectors like LnT, Godrej, JSW, Lodha, Seimens too coming to the college.

Overall ,you have 'almost' all the top names in the industry visiting VJTI for placements.

The pay scales for the top tech companies is in the 8-16lpa range while for the Big 4 firms and telcos,you will be offered somewhere in between 5-8 lpa while the compensation offered by the core sectors is on the lower side of 6 lpa.

According to me, any pay which is above the average pay of your friends is high pay as it gives you the bragging rights for the rest of the year :P

So I will talk about the average pay according to my knowledge.You can than define what classifies as 'high pay' according to your criteria.

Computers/IT : 6-8 lpa

Electronics/ EXTC/ Mechanical : 5-7 lpa

Electrical / Prod/ Civil : 3-5 lpa
