According, to the latest news state and private colleges will conduct their own entrance exam to take admission in engineering program as 2017. There will be no change in 2018.

It is yet to be officially confirmed that there will be only one single engineering exam on the pattern of NEET.
The government is yet to take a final call on it. A lot of things have to be taken into account before the final decision is taken.

MHRD has already said it earlier in the year 2016 after NEET concept was brought in but no further announcements are made.
