LPU has a certain eligibility criteria which is mandatory to qualify. Like the eligibility criteria for Engineering programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90%  in 10+2 , or 90 percentile in  JEE Mains, then LPUNEST  will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

Also looking at the current situation of pandemic LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms for certain programmes in which you can apply based on your percentages. Also LPU offers various scholarship categories based on which you can avail scholarship benefits. To avail the current and maximum scholarship for this running phase LPU officials are advising to take Admission prior to 31st Aug 2020.

To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST.
You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. Im really sorry to say that if you are wants to take admission in top colleges like Lovely professional university ,Manipal University ,Shardha University,etc.. then you must appear Entrance test with minimum aggregate marks but mostly every top college and University having own entrance test for admission .

So as per your query without 12th result and entrance you will not get admission but they can call for Carrier Counselling not for the admission counselling .

At LPU there are certain courses, in which there is no entrance exam. You just need to apply for admission online, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Further, If you are looking for admission in engineering you are suppose to qualify the entrance exam, which is mandatory. Once you qualify the exam, you will be called for online counselling and seat preference.

Dear Pawan, It completely depends upon the course you looking for.  I am aware about admission details at LPU since I got my brother's admission done yesterday. So I will share details about LPU. There are certain courses in LPU in which there is no entrance exam such as BBA, BCA, Hotel Management, B.Sc in different specializations,Diploma programs, BJMC and many more , you just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and you can get your admission done. If you are looking for admission in Engineering, PG Agriculture, MBA or LLM , then you need to qualify Entrance exam. Counselling process is only followed in Engineering. If you have appeared for JEE exam in January, then you can be a part of their special counselling, last date to apply for the same is 20th April and if not then you can apply for LPUNEST and be a part of their regular counselling , last date to apply for the same is 30th April.

Eligibility and admission criteria varies from institute to institute.

LPU conducts it's National Level Exam named as LPUNEST .This exam aims to provide maximum scholarship to all the students who want to join LPU for their course interest.

LPU offers 200+ programmes, in some of the programmes LPUNEST  is compulsory and in some programmes it's totally student choice to appear for it.

Moreover, LPU never entertain those students who not clear their board result before the commencement of classes.
