Jadavpur University is a State University of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE, Jadavpur university doesn’t take admissions through Jee Mains .
So, if you want to get into Jadavpur, first sit for WBJEE.
To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 1500, If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600–700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction -etc then scoring under 1200–1500 will be enough.

Yes, Jadavpur University will continue to offer admission to candidate based on JEE Main scores in 2018 only for the 15% seats offered/reserved for JEE Main candidates. However, you need to work hard as the cutoff goes quite high and you need good score in JEE Main. Also, in order to be eligible for admission at Jadavpur University, you need to have minimum 60% aggregate marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for General category, while reserved category candidates must have scored 45% aggregate marks in PCM in class 12th or equivalent exam. Apart from this, they also need to have passed in these 3 subjects individually and should have scored 30% marks in English.

No, Jadavpur University does not accept JEE mains score. It only accepts WBJEE score.
•WBJEE ( West Bengal Joint entrance examination ) is a single entrance test to get admission into the faculty of engineering at Jadavpur University.
