Every exam in medical stream is difficult. All depends on your hard work and dedication. If you belong to a general category you need a score of 170+ whereas if you belong to a OBC category a score of 160+ works on the safer side. Whereas category of sc/St would work on 140+.

Hi Sudharsan,
JIPMER is one of the top medical colleges of India and it conducts its own exam and doesn't come under NEET. The questions asked are quite standard and serve a good balance among questions of all difficulty levels. This year onwards they also started negative marking system.
So aspirants all over the country compete for 200 MBBS seats (50 in Karaikal). It all depends on your percentile (relative performance).
So study well, practise previous year papers of JIPMER, and give your best.
