I would say Lovely Professional University is best for B.Tech course.Considering LPU for B. Tech seems a like good idea to me. Considering all the pros and cons, I would say it is a better option. Though I don't belong to a B.Tech course, I do have many friends from B.Tech. Here is what I think about B.Tech in LPU.

Curriculum:

The curriculum in B.Tech is designed in such a way that, students meet the current requirements of the field. It is designed to teach students from the ground zero level to the advanced techs prevailing in the respective field. Industrial tours, Technical competitions, real-life experiences, workshops etc are conducted to teach and let the students experience the real world in. Students are also taught with hands-on experience on topics like, problem-solving, critical thinking, and soft skills which are rather more important besides knowledge on the subject. These are added to the curriculum to enhance communication skills and to develop the personality of the students.

Faculty Experience:

The Faculty here are experienced enough to teach you the subject. Senior faculties are always there to help you out with the live project. It is just that you must be curious enough to learn from them.

Placements :

Placements for CSE students are really good. A worthy student will be able to get int a job by the end of his/her third year with a decent package. On average, The packages for students range from 6LPA to 8LPA and let me tell you this is an average. The highest package is 42LPA for a CSE student (Tanya Arora) by MICROSOFT. Being Education Consultant and a parent too i usually check the consistency of all the institutes in Punjab in the context of quality education.

I inquired in almost 7–8 institutes across the state but i found only LPU is up to the mark. I inquired in LPU few days ago for my nephew. So, I can answer you more efficiently. Although percentage above 90% in 12th class may help you to get higher scholarship but for getting Admission in B.Tech there is nothing to do with above 90% in 12th class. The admissions to B.Tech are not based on your 10+2 marks, but on LPU NEST or JEE Mains score. Candidate must have 60% aggregate in 12th and LPU NEST must be qualified.

By looking today’s current scenario of the Industry. Companies are seeking Industry ready product and a skilled employee. We should find the best Institute for the further studies.

Although few College/Universities did not look at quality of students for continuous period of time while taking intake for Admission this straight a way affected their placements and enthusiasm as well to improve the Curriculum. There are a number of good universities in India. Some of the features of a good university are well practical and industrial exposure, good placements, skill development programs, professional enhancement training, and exposure to its students, and along with this how much scholarship is provided by the university to the students.

CSE LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my younger brother has already completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working with amazon. His experience at LPU was amazing. He has discussed placements, exposure, academics etc.

Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another.
