Is lpu nest is compulsory for admission in lpu. I got approx 89 marks in jee mains so can I get admission in lpu or not . 81.8 in intermed.

I would suggest that you appear for LPUNEST right now and secure your admission at LPU. Since you know what entrance exams are, LPNEST wont be much of a hassle for you.

Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is conducted by Lovely Professional University (LPU) every year. It is a university level examination that held once in a year for admission of candidates to various courses available at the university. The purpose of LPUNEST differs from programme to programme. For some programme it is for Eligibility and Scholarship purpose both and for some it is just for Scholarship purpose only.

Around 40% marks are required to qualify it for Eligibility purpose. For Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified. Cut - Off depends on the number of candidates appearing for the test and the highest marks scored in the same.

The applications are open for Special schedule counselling and the last date is 20th April 2020

Counselling will be conducted online and candidates can confirm their admission through this counselling.

No, it's not compulsory for the students who appeared for JEE mains exam but a student can get admission directly when JEE marks are more than 80 percentile. otherwise, if a students score is less the 80 percentile then he has to appear for the LPUNEST exam. for the eligibility and also for the scholarship.
