Is mathematics subject important for admissions in Delhi University?
No it's not compulsory to have maths for DU JAT as its eligibility criteria says :
- Candidates should have passed their senior secondary schooling from a recognised board like CBSE or board equivalent by the University of Delhi.
- Candidates who have appeared in their final exams and are awaiting results are eligible to apply for DU JAT exam as well.
- Applicants must obtain a minimum of 60 percent in the qualification examination.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category requires minimum 50%, and CW/PWD category candidates require 54%, at the senior secondary level.
More over in exam also questions will be regarding Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, Business and General Awareness.
