MIT is a government college. It is approved by AICTE. It has syllabus as perscribed by the government.
According, to Careers 360 it has AAAA rating which means very good.

No, MIT is not an autonomous college. It is affiliated to Pune & and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. For further information you can visit its official website.
