I m a electronics student from New Horizon college I would love to share my insight from my 4 year experience.
Since you are interested in taking up CASE your choice of college wouldn't matter much cz of the following reasons.
- The world of computer is fast developing and you have to learn a lot outside the syllabus for which you need to depend on open source materials or private coaching.
- Placement opportunities for CSE is very vast and most of companies recruit students even from colleges with lower standard.
- There is a HP big data lab , a SAP lab and a AEM lab in NHCE for interesed and elegible students you can consider this factor as a plus point if you are interested in NHCE.
- Finally my opinion try to optimise taravel time so that you can make the best of your time.
- If you are interested in Hard core programming then ISE is a better choice as u can ISE had the highest package in 2017 in NHCE.

DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The fast changing technological scenario poses to the department a challenge of continuously updating its curriculum and faculty to be able to provide state-of-the-art education to the students.
Faculty: The Department currently has eighteen faculty members, including one Professor Emeritus. Current areas of research can be broadly classified into the following categories: High Voltage Engineering, Electric Power Quality, Industrial Drives and Renewable Energy.
Facilities: The Department has modern laboratories to serve the teaching and research needs of the students and faculty of the Department. All faculty members, all UG PG and Research scholars have sole access to computer and softwares. All systems are connected to the Departmental LAN which is a part of the Institute-wide area network.
Relation with Industry: The Department has close interaction with number of industry and Government agencies. The main modes of interaction are faculty consultancy, sponsored projects and short-term courses. The Department also has Industrial Affiliate courses.

Yes Placement wise Bangalorian colleges are gppd because of influence of IT industry in Bangalore
