Is snacks are allowed for diabetic students ...as stated in admit card ?
Answer (1)
Dear Sakshi, a diabetic needs to eat atleast once in every 4-6 hours. Now given the fact that NEET exam is for 3 hours, it is advisable to eat something before you enter the exam hall so that it keeps you energised atleast for the next 3 hours. Any eatable item either packed or unpacked along with water bottle is not allowed according to NTA's policy. While we understand that Diabetes is a serious condition, what you can do to prevent your insulin levels rising and dropping is in your hands. If you still want to take eatables to the exam hall, please write to the helpdesk at neetug-nta@nic.in along with proof of your medical condition attached. They will take a final call.
