Placements in VIT University for the year 2018-2019 has recorded the highest number of recruitments in all programmes offered by it in the years. Some of the companies like General Electric, Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd., Hexagon, Qualcomm, Oracle, Volvo, Renault and more, visit the VIT University to offer placements to the gaduates.

The highest placement package was offered Rs. 39 Lakhs p.a., by Microsoft, to 8 students. DE Shaw & Co. offered a package of Rs 33 lakhs per annum to 1 student whereas, 7 students received a dream offer of 21.5 lakhs by PayPal. VIT claims to have over 400 recruiters from Core Engineering and Software companies who visit campus each year.
