Fee consession is available in each NIT based on the family income of the students. The fees to be paid are categorised in three groups.
1. FAMILY INCOME LESS THAN 1 LAC: Full tution fee is waived.
2. FAMILY INCOME BETWEEN 1 LAC AND 5 LACS: 2/3 of tuition fee is waived.
3. FAMILY INCOME GREATER THAN 5 LACS: Full tuition fee has to be paid. No waiver scheme is available.
Income Certificate from competent authority has to be generated to avail consession.
There is no fee consession available based on one's JEE Main score. Hope this information clears your doubts. Good luck.
