There is only one integrated course in the University of Delhi and that is Five-Year Integrated Programme in Journalism in Delhi School of Journalism.
Details of this programme-
The Delhi School Journalism under the Faculty of Social Science offers a Five-Year Integrated Program in Journalism in two languages English and Hindi. - The program will have an exit option after three years; in that case, the student will be awarded Degree of Bachelor of Journalism (BJ).
The students completing two years postgraduate course will be awarded the Degree of Master of Journalism (MJ).
Courses will be taught separately for English and Hindi Medium students. The program includes four foreign languages (French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic) and two regional languages (Tamil, Bengali, Sanskrit, and Urdu) in ten semesters. A student requires to opt for one foreign language and one regional language from the above choices.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA-
An aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination determined on the basis of all five subjects offered in the qualifying examination
SELECTION PROCESS-
• Selection/Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test.
• The Entrance test will be of two hours duration and will be based on the General Awareness (GK), Media Awareness, Current Affairs, English Comprehension Grammatical, and Analytical Skills, Logical Reasoning and Basic Mathematics Skills.
• The Entrance is of Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format.
• There will be 100 questions. For each correct answer, a student shall score +4 marks and for each wrong answer, there will be -1 mark.
• There will be no descriptive questions.
