Is there any quota for JEE MAINS exam?

Yes, there is category-wise reservation for candidates in JEE Main.

Scheduled Caste - 15%

ST - 7.5%

OBC - 27%

Person with disabilities - 3%

But please note that :

• For admission to NITs, IIITs, and GCTIs, you must belong to the central list in your category published by GOI
• State engineering colleges that accept JEE Main scores for admission will follow the reservation criteria of that state only.
• In case of NITs and IIITs, there is 50% reservation each for home state candidate and All India candidates.

JEE Main reservation of seats is done for candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The percentage of seats reserved for candidates belonging to each category is given below :

• Category Wise JEE Main 2018 Reservation of seats:

1.OBC (Non-creamy layer)      -27%
2.SC                                            -15%
3.ST                                            -7.5%
4.PwD (40% or more disability)3%

• JEE Main Reservation of Seats 2018- HS/OS

1.Home State (HS) Quota     -50%
2.Other State (OS) Quota      -50%
