Yes, it conducts its own entrance exam.
Himachal Pradesh University conducts the common entrance test on behalf of Government of Himachal Pradesh and Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (Ayurveda). The university conducts this test for candidates who wish to seek admission in the BAMS / BHMS courses.

There will be conducted a separate entrance exam and that too in the month of August. You can even check the official website for reference

There are no separate in exam for getting into BAMS in any state. You need to have qualified NEET. If you have passed, you could apply in state quota and have good chances to get a seat in private colleges.

There is no regional examination. THERE IS ONLY NEET WHICH CAN HELP YOU GET A SEAT IN ANY COLLEGE FOR BAMS.
