Is this showing crl rank cutoff or category wised rank
During the JoSAA counselling process the cut off rank displayed for each round are based on category wise rank not the crl (common rank list rank) this means that, if a candidate belongs to a reserve category or ews the cut off rank shown for these categories will reflect the rank within the specific category only not the candidate's overall crl rank.
When a college or counseling result shows a CRL (Common Rank List) cutoff, it means the cutoff is based on the overall rank of all candidates, regardless of their category. This is not a category-wise rank. So, if you belong to SC, ST, OBC, or EWS, your category rank might be different and lower than your CRL. Always check whether the cutoff is mentioning CRL or specific category ranks for accurate understanding and better planning.
